Doll House Restoration Project

This doll house was a complete restoration project. It was purchased at a garage sale
by a client, from an elderly woman who claimed that it was made by her grandfather.
It was obviously made by hand, and I did find small square nails in it. The side
walls were made of a single board,1 inch by 22 inch 30 inch, walnut.

When I received it, it was
in lots of pieces. It was entirely repaired, repainted, and reassembled. All of the
wallpaper was painted by hand, new hinges installed on doors and windows, and
oak flooring installed. It should serve its young owner well, for a long time.
